Meet The Staff
All the staff at Dingwall Childrens Nursery are highly motivated, professional and experienced. They have been chosen with care and have a genuine love for children.
Petria Brooke-Carr - Nursery Manager
Petria qualified as a primary school teacher in South Australia where she specialised in reading and language development. She has a variety of work experience including over ten years working in the adult education sector, coordinating and teaching accross a broad range of programmes. She came to Britain in 1990 on a government scholarship (to study TEFL teaching)where she fell in love with the Highlands of Scotland, and stayed. She has run a successful tourism and accommodation business while bringing up her three beautiful children. Passionate about the importance of early years education for all children, Petria is delighted be part of the team at Dingwall Childrens Nursery and to welcome you and your child.
Katie Anderson - Assistant Manager
Katie recently moved from Evanton to Bonar Bridge. She started her career in the childcare sector 4 years ago working as a nursery assistant in Inverness and has completed her level 2 and 3 in childcare early years education. She has since worked her way up to assistant manager. Katie is experienced in working with planning and children’s observations and development files. Katie aims to ensure your child enjoys their time at Dingwall Childrens Nursery and looks forward to seeing you in the near future.

Gayle has two young children. Originally from Dingwall, and now lives in Strathpeffer. Beginning her career in the education sector ten years ago at Inverness College she gained a National and Higher National Certificates in Childcare and Education. After qualifying Gayle worked in Inverness and then moved to Edinburgh for a year where she worked with children of all ages. After a career gap Gayle has returned to the education sector and our nursery. She provides a fun and stimulating environment for your children to flourish.

Originally from Orkney, now living in Dingwall. She achieved her HNC through Orkney College. After gaining experience in a nursery in Orkney and for a Special Needs Unit, she moved to Inverness where she furthered her carreer and gained a wealth of experience.
Susan provides a friendly and fun atmosphere where your children can develop their skills.

Ninna Ross - Nursery Assistant
She is from Dingwall and currently undertaking her nursery qualifications. Ninna previously worked in a nursery in Inverness, then took time out to have her little boy who is now 3 years old and attends Dingwall Childrens Nursery.

Lives in the small town of Strathpeffer and like Ninna is undertaking her nursery qualifications. Leanna previously worked in Fairburn House nursing home caring for disabled people of all ages, and is looking forward to completing her nusery training.
